As the title suggests, this blog is essentially a record of my thought processes on all manner of topics, ranging from the sacred to the profane and from the eternally important to the infinitesimally trivial. I have accepted the fact that I am the kind of person that has no choice but to reflect deeply on his own existence, on his world, and on the nature of reality itself. I was born with the philosopher's curse, and I love it. Other folks may be content to fly lightly along life's path, unconscious of the questions of their final destiny or the nature of their soul, confidently moving forward to that time and era where they will be dust and no one will remember their name, but I am not one of those.

Now a quick note on the thinker part of christianthinker.net. I don't want to imply by the title of this blog any great level of intelligence. In fact the opposite is likely true. This blog is only about thinking, and no claim is made that I will always think correctly, or even that I am capable of doing so at any significant level. I aim for truth, I want to be right, I try to reason well, but those who find my happy little site can judge that for themselves.
